Kinki
area consists of six prefectures, Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga, Hyogo, Nara and
Wakayama. The total population of the area is approximately 21 million
with the gross prefectural product of 80 trillion yen which is about
half of that of Kanto area.
The area is a core region in western
Japan and of importance in political, economical and cultural aspects.
Kyoto has been flourished as a center and an ancient capital of Japan
since the transfer of the capital to Heian-Kyo in 794. Kyoto has a lot
of temples and shrines which give the prefecture a characteristic as a
capital of tourism.
Osaka
is the second largest prefecture in Japan with the population of 8.8
million and the gross product in the prefecture is approximately 41
trillion yen which accounts for the half of that within Kinki area.
The location of the area has a great importance as a transportation hub
for railway, ship, car and air, including Kansai International Airport.
Outline of program
"Career Development Program for Foreign Students in Japan in Kinki block"
With
an aim to utilize foreign students in Kinki economic zone who are
precious human resources for Japanese economy, build network
communities between excellent foreign students and small and
medium-sized enterprises mainly in manufacturing section and support
the growth of such companies requiring young workers.
■ Business Japanese language / Japanese business education
<<Business Japanese language training courses>> Provide curriculums for business Japanese language, including "Business
Japanese language" and "Japanese business" training courses.
<<Japanese business training>> Provide curriculums for understanding Japanese business
practices/culture to prevent maladjustment to an organization after
entering.
■ Internship program
Implement on-the-job training in the organization which is cultivated by a coordinator.
■ Job hunting support program
Provide comprehensive support service from consultation on status of residence to getting job.
