Outline of program
"Program for developing and settling IT human resources from Asia to create regions through industry-academia cooperation"
With an aim to let excellent IT human resources settle and flourish in IT companies that intend to expand their business to Asia, give practical IT education/trainings, Japanese business education etc. collaboratively with IT companies and electronics companies and promote employment by domestic IT companies.
1. Industry-academia cooperating specialized education program
Using the internationally compatible Open Source Software (OSS) technology, implement Project Based Learning (PBL) for mixed teams of foreign and Japanese students and practically foster the information system development management ability that is demanded by IT companies

2. Business Japanese language and Japanese business education
Reflecting the needs of companies accepting foreign human resources, develop basic skills of business Japanese language and self-sustained learning ability in the second semester of the first year. In the first semester of the second year, cultivate sophisticated business communication skills based on the understanding of Japanese culture and social background.
3. Internship
Planning to implement internship in local IT companies and Tokyo metropolitan area for two weeks to a month in collaboration with industry-related groups in the Tohoku area.
Theme
Development of industry-academia cooperating specialized education programs based on Sendai Scheme.
Goal of human resources development
The program develops IT specialists with not only sophisticated IT skills related to hardware and software but also basic grounding related to communication ability, project management and human skills.
