"Identify, foster and support excellent foreign human resources under global environment"


I.High-level specialized education etc.

Given to foreign students in master's or doctor's course of graduate school. New subjects are provided across each major of graduate school for graduate school foreign students with aims to give them opportunities to get interested in non-specialized fields as well as specialized field and broaden their perspective by themselves. The following four subjects are the compulsory subjects. A "Completion certificate" will be given in addition to academic degree to those who acquired the credits.


1. Industry-academia cooperating advanced studies:

Select a theme from; (1) Technical management strategy No. 1, (2) Development history, (3) Business creation theory, (4) Technical management strategy No. 2, (5) Innovation and management of instrumentation control techniques, (6) Advanced studies on management, (7) Knowing materials, (8) Advanced studies on venture business, and (9) R&D in chemical industry.


2. Industry-academia cooperating trainings:

(1) Mechanical (automobiles and cutting-edge product development), (2) Chemical (life environment and chemistry), (3) Information (business and technologies), (4) Material (new materials and new use), (5) Civil engineering and construction (construction and designing), (6) Information/Electrical (information technologies and electrical)


3. Internship of human resources from Asia:

For 2 weeks or more


4. Technical Japanese language:

(1) Intellectual properties (for science majors), (2) Career and business manner studies, (3) Mobile phone planning project, (4) Significance of your research


II.Securing foreign students

Secure top-class excellent foreign students such as through schools agreeing academic exchange, overseas offices of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Kuramae Kogyokai (alumni association of Tokyo Institute of Technology), and overseas branches. In doing this, particularly expand overseas offices of Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Theme

Secure excellent human resources and also develop human resources who can get interested in non-specialized field and who can move into actions.

Goal of human resources development

Human resources who have sophisticated expertise and skills, who is familiar with technologies in non-specialized fields as well as Japanese business models, and who can lead and manage development, designing and planning in total manner based on their excellent technical communication ability.
