Outline of program

"Practical education for global contents bridging human resources for the next generation"


This program aims to support globalization of contents industry as a priority industry in Japan. This program offers comprehensive and practical education for foreign students from Asia by utilizing the contents work environment and the curriculum integrating arts and sciences of Tokyo University of Technology. This program develops human resources who can bridge Japan with other Asian countries in joint production and business.


1. Program for development and demonstration of specialized education program under business-academia collaboration

・ Tokyo University of Technology (TUT) introduced メContents scienceモ in the early stage and has been focusing not on a production based on sensitivity but on contents research and production technologies based on scientific analysis with a number of cutting edge research cases.

・ Under this program, many of these research results are included in lectures in the graduate school.

・ Curriculums for entrepreneur course are interlocked to acquire business skills at the same time.


2. Business Japanese language / Japanese business education program

・ Utilize know-how of affiliated Japanese language school

・ Promote practical learning of Japanese language for specialized area in the TUT project with business-academia collaboration

・ Allocate total of 1,000 hours for the two-year course for business Japanese language course


3. Internship program

・Internship with two steps is devised:

 (1) Participate in a project under business-academia collaboration which utilizes production environment of TUT to acquire basic skills required in internship in the early stages

 (2) Enhance effectiveness through participation in the internship in a company

・Increase flexibility of implementation period by targeting the graduate students


4. Job hunting support program

・As the systemization of production methods based on contents science is advanced, skill of each student can be presented

・Hold seminars for Creator Qualification Test by CG-ARTS to support foreign students to acquire qualification

・Provide instructions not only for employment but also for starting up a business

・Conduct research on the latest cases in the world and regularly hold open lectures and international symposiums to diffuse the results of survey


5. Survey program

・Conduct survey on the actual situation of contents education in other Asian countries through this program to compare with that of Japan and utilize the survey results in the similar project in the future

・Propose Japanese language education methods specialized in contents


6. Program to promote foreign students

・Increase collaboration with universities with contents courses by interlocking with the survey program


7. Project management program

・Invite many number of business people to form a practical committee

・Human resources who understand advanced production technologies to respond to new contents
